Christine Cote

Christine Cote received her Bachelor’s Degree from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and her Masters Degree in Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She has 19 years experience in education and is currently teaching courses in Technology, Engineering, and Robotics at Northbridge Public High School in Linwood, Massachusetts.

Christine has lengthy experience in Global STEM education and her collaborative work with the Global STEM Education Center which focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals was recognized as an exemplary STEM program by the Massachusetts Computer Using Educators organization in 2019. Christine has also presented on this topic at many symposiums and conferences including the MAVA (Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators) conference, Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference, and the Massachusetts Governor’s STEM Summit.

Christine’s work developing NASA research projects with students has involved work with Arizona State University’s JMARS program and most notably with the Epic Education Foundation.

Christine’s STEM background includes certification as a GLOBE educator which promotes the ideology of students as citizen scientists. Her work with GLOBE led her to obtain training and certification in the Sea Perch program in 2018.

Christine’s enthusiasm for STEM research was recognized in 2018 when she was honored with the Blackstone Valley Superintendents’ Consortium Promising Practices Golden Apple award. Christine continues to work towards developing her skills and has been involved with the Epic Education Foundation since 2017.
